Local attorney helps score big Memphis auto accident verdict

Local litigator Donald Capparella of Dodson Parker Behm & Capparella has helped an elderly couple win a $2.7 million award ruling in Shelby County Circuit Court. Along with Sadler Bailey of Bailey & Greer, Capparella had represented the couple in their case against an uninsured driver who hit them in March of last year. Bailey says the ruling could pave the road for a challenge to new state laws capping non-economic damages at $750,000 and exempting insurers from the Tennessee Consumer Protection Act.
