Miller & Martin PLLC Chairman Jim Haley announced today the firm has formed a crisis management practice targeting businesses and organizations.
The new practice will involve 13 Miller & Martin attorneys, with firm member Zac Greene, who is based in Chattanooga, to serve as the practice group leader.
The 130-attorney firm has offices in Atlanta, Chattanooga and Nashville.
“A business crisis is best managed before it ever occurs,” Haley (pictured) said in a release. “Our new Crisis Management Practice Group leverages the firm's deep experience in advising clients with respect to business operations, government enforcement, and dispute resolution to offer our clients a multi-disciplinary approach to avoiding, managing and recovering from unexpected business interruptions.”
As part of the new practice, Miller & Martin is including Atlanta-based Jackson Spalding, a marketing communications firm with a specialty in crisis management.
“A big part of managing a crisis when it occurs is maintaining strong communications with a business’s diverse audiences to ensure that accurate information is shared in a timely manner,” Greene said.
