Lattimore Black Morgan & Cain Director of Training Dr. M. David Haddock, Jr., has been elected chair of the board for the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants, LBMC announced Wednesday.

TSCPA is a professional association for more than 9,000 CPAs residing and practicing in Tennessee and encompasses all areas of public practice, government, education, business and industry.

“In the constantly changing economic climate, this organization allows us to not only have a voice in the decision making, but provides continued work and service to make the certified public accountant the most trusted brand in the U.S.,” Haddock said in a release.

In addition to his service on the TSCPA Board of Directors and Council, Haddock will concurrently serve as a member of the Board of Trustees of TSCPA’s Educational & Memorial Foundation, which provides comprehensive continuing education for CPAs and awards academic scholarships to deserving accounting students attending Tennessee’s colleges and universities.
