Health care communications firm Jarrard Phillip Cate & Hancock has hired Isaac Squyres as senior executive advisor.
Previously, Squyres founded and managed Squyres Strategic Communications where he served as lead public affairs advisor for St. Luke's Health System in Idaho. Prior to that, he was a partner at DaviesMoore and Gallatin Public Affairs and also served at Nashville-based McNeely Pigott & Fox Public Relations. In his new role, Squyres will be based in Jarrard's Maryland Farms office.

Separately, the firm also promoted Emily Serck from senior advisory to senior executive advisor. Serck joined the firm five years ago and previously was a senior account manager at the DCI Group.

West End-based Reed Public Relations has joined forces with the Public Relations Global Network, an international alliance with more than 40 members firms. RPR was launched in 2012 by Lauren Reed, who had previously run the Nashville office of Louisville firm Peritus. The firm has worked with O'Charley's, digital marketing agency Paramore and Southwestern Advantage, among others.

Lovell Communications has hired a senior account executive with a focus on health care technology companies. Carolyn Edwards joins Green Hills-based Lovell, which is home to a dozen people, with more than three years of public relations and marketing experience and was most recently an account manager at Dodge Communications in Atlanta. She manages media relations, marketing and lead generation efforts for some of the firm's health care IT accounts.
“Carolyn brings experience with a range of health care technology market segments, including revenue cycle, big data and mobile health,” said President Rosemary Plorin. “Her background in health care IT and her expertise in marketing health care services in general will be a great benefit for our clients.”
Downtown-based marketing firm GS&F has added to its roster a director of public relations as well as five other employees. Marieke Bianchi has joined the firm as PR director with 10 years of experience. She most recently was at Hunter Public Relations in New York City, where she worked on accounts like Barefoot Wines and Kraft Foods. At GS&F, she will manage the PR efforts for Hunt Brothers Pizza and Tractor Supply, among others.
Also joining GS&F's PR team is account coordinator Margaret Kercher. She will support the Tractor Supply, Applebee’s, Universal Lighting Technologies and Argent Financial accounts. The firm also has added traffic coordinators Meredith Clapp, Thomas Bynum, Ginny Hoskins and Katherine LaViscount to its team.
