MPO adopts 25-year plan

The board of the Metropolitan Planning Organization yesterday formally adopted its vision to guide the development of the seven-county core Middle Tennessee region through 2035. You can check out an outline here.

Setting the transit stage

The Transit Alliance of Middle Tennessee has released a video laying out the state of the region's transportation system and some of the priorities it will seek to address in building a public-transit system. One of the key points the group is pushing: We have to start now to get to where we want to be in 25 years.
