Nissan probes hack attempt

Nissan officials say they are still trying to get to the bottom of an attempted technological break-in late last month. Nothing was taken from the auto maker's network, but a company exec says his team is prepared.

French automaker Renault has suspended three senior executives involved with its electric-car program over allegations that they violated the company's security policies. Renault owns more than 40 percent of Nissan and shares a CEO in Carlos Ghosn. The two entities are pouring billions into electric-car technology, which includes an under-construction plant in Smyrna.
