Gallatin ECD point man stepping down

Clay Walker will leave his post as head of Gallatin's Economic Development Agency at the end of this month. Walker, who has been the city's ECD point man for six and a half years, is leaving for an undisclosed private-sector gig and told Gallatin City Council members he feels like he's made progress during his time.

“I think there were a lot of Hendersonville versus Gallatin, and ‘where does the county fit into this’ questions that have not been resolved but have gotten closer to resolution,” he said.
