The team at network security venture Cybera has just tripled the size of its indirect sales force by being named a vertical solution provider for Verizon. Salespeople for the telecom giant will help market Cybera's products, along with the company's wireless services. That should open the door to more big-name customers that have locations all over the country.
“Many enterprises seek to minimize offline conditions by replacing or supplementing traditional broadband connectivity with reliable high-speed wireless connections,” said Verizon Wireless Regional President Jerry Fountain. “With a high demand for solutions that provide wireless connectivity and security, Verizon sees great value in combining Cybera’s fully managed cloud security service with our wireless network.”
Nashville is among the first cities in the nation to get Verizon Wireless' new HomeFusion Broadband service for in-home Internet connectivity.
Verizon Wireless today introduced HomeFusion Broadband: a new service that provides high-speed in-home Internet access using the power and speed of the nation's largest 4G LTE network. The solution will offer households in areas with limited broadband options a reliable alternative for data connectivity in their homes.
The service will be available later this month in Nashville, Dallas and Birmingham.
