Cybera makes a big friend
The team at network security venture Cybera has just tripled the size of its indirect sales force by being named a vertical solution provider for Verizon. Salespeople for the telecom giant will help market Cybera's products, along with the company's wireless services. That should open the door to more big-name customers that have locations all over the country.
“Many enterprises seek to minimize offline conditions by replacing or supplementing traditional broadband connectivity with reliable high-speed wireless connections,” said Verizon Wireless Regional President Jerry Fountain. “With a high demand for solutions that provide wireless connectivity and security, Verizon sees great value in combining Cybera’s fully managed cloud security service with our wireless network.”
