SCRI adds to board

Nashville-based Sarah Cannon Research Institute has appointed Cynthia Schwalm to its board of governors. Schwalm, who has 26 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device fields, most recently served as president of Eisai Pharmaceuticals, the U.S. subsidiary of Tokyo-based Eisai Ltd. Prior to that, Schwalm was vice president and general manager of U.S. oncology for Amgen Inc. and managing director of Ortho Biotech for UK/Ireland at Johnson & Johnson.
