Local PR firm wins Olympic clients

Nashville public relations firm Morgan Creative Services has added athletes Travis Stevens and Nick Delpopolo to its roster of Olympic Games clients. Both are ranked No. 1 in the U.S. in their weight divisions for judo and are expected to participate in the 2012 Olympics in London.
Morgan Creative Services will be providing traditional public and media relations services related to the athletes' international- level achievements. Also, the firm will engage social media to allow the athletes to interact directly with fans and those interested in the sport of judo.

Freeman Web gets international green award

Nashville's Freeman Webb has received an International Green Apple Environment Award for the design of its new headquarters, The Freeman Webb Building. The apartment owner/manager's new home is the first Gold LEED pre-certified building in the state and the only American entry out of 500 worldwide nominations to win at the London ceremony. It was designed by Nashville's Hastings Architecture Associates in conjunction with Freeman and general contractor Wieck Construction. The International Green Apple Environment Awards are given by The Green Organisation, a United Kingdom-based, independent, non-profit environment group. Winning projects were expected to demonstrate environmental, social and financial benefit as well as aesthetics, waste reduction and innovation.
