Freeman Web gets international green award
Nashville's Freeman Webb has received an International Green Apple Environment Award for the design of its new headquarters, The Freeman Webb Building. The apartment owner/manager's new home is the first Gold LEED pre-certified building in the state and the only American entry out of 500 worldwide nominations to win at the London ceremony. It was designed by Nashville's Hastings Architecture Associates in conjunction with Freeman and general contractor Wieck Construction. The International Green Apple Environment Awards are given by The Green Organisation, a United Kingdom-based, independent, non-profit environment group.
