Law firm Frost Brown Todd has added associate Nathan S. Harris to the mergers and acquisitions practice group in its Nashville office. He comes to the firm from Ernst & Young, where he advised large public and private companies in various industries on the tax consequences of transactions and reorganizations as well as economic incentives cases. He earned his law degree and a bachelor's in economics from the University of Kentucky College of Law.
The Washington, D.C., office Baker Donelson has added to its ranks a former Air Force general, who will advise firm's clients in the aerospace and defense sectors.
Howie Chandler retired from the Air Force in 2011 after 36 years of service. During his career, he was among other things vice chief of staff, commander of the Pacific Air Force and director of operations in the Pentagon. Since retiring, he has worked as vice president of business development and international programs at Pratt & Whitney Military Engines.
"General Chandler is a significant addition to our group, bringing a wealth of experience from his military service and his international aerospace expertise," said Sheila Burke, chair of Baker Donelson's government relations and public policy group. "His leadership will enhance the capabilities of our group and we are fortunate to have him as part of our team."
