Ex-FCC commissioner to teach at Lipscomb

Former Federal Communications Commissioner Deb Tate is the biggest name on an interesting list of executives and professionals Lipscomb University officials have recruited for their revamped Department of Communication and Journalism. Tate, who also chaired the Tennessee Regulatory Authority before spending three years in Washington, will teach communication law and regulation. PR pros snag Parthenons

Dye Van Mol & Lawrence and Seigenthaler PR were the big winners at the recent Parthenon Awards handed out by the Nashville chapter of the Public Relations Society of America.
