Rehab unit underway at Southern Hills

Work to build the 12-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit pitched by Southern Hills Medical Center last March is now underway. The TriStar Health System hospital expects the facility to open on June 1.
“Our Rehab Center will treat patients with neurologic, orthopaedic, trauma, stroke, cardiac and cancer disabilities,” explained Thomas Ozburn, Chief Executive Officer of the hospital. “Our team is very excited to be able to offer this much needed service to Nashvillians and people in the surrounding cities.”
The 132-bed hospital serves southern Davidson, northern Rutherford and Wilson Counties.
