Music City Bowl date announced
The date for this year's Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl has been set for Friday, Dec. 30 at 5:40 p.m. The college football game will be held at LP Field in Nashville and feature teams from the Atlantic Coast Conference and Southeastern Conference.
“We couldn’t be more excited about this year's game date and time, and believe it gives us the ideal window for maximizing fan travel and engaging local fans,” said Brad Lampley, Bowl Chair. “Our ESPN time slot will allow us to showcase to the nation both the pageantry of BOWL Week and the other New Year's festivities in Music City. It will be the perfect kick-off for New Year's weekend.”
The 2010 game had a local economic impact of about $20 million.
