Urban Science, a retail consulting firm based in the same Detroit office complex General Motors calls home, has set up a nine-person shop just off Franklin's Public Square. Plans call for the addition of a few more staffers this year as the 33-year-old firm begins to work its auto-related marketing magic.

The company (Ticker: DG), which took over distribution of the iconic brand in 2005, has kicked off an internal star search for 10 employees to model the apparel in an ad campaign.

Rosetta Marketing Group has promoted Nashville-based Steve Gustafson to partner. Gustafson has been with the interactive marketing agency — which counts Tractor Supply and LifeWay among its local clients — since the latter acquired Brulant in 2008.

Bohan scores at Emmys

Bohan Advertising|Marketing won two MidSouth Emmy Awards for work done for Fazoli’s and United Methodist Communications. It's the sixth year in a row the Gulch-based agency has won the coveted award. The Fazoli’s Emmy was for “Blown Away,” a humorous commercial with special effects promoting the value and quality of the restaurant chain’s menu. The United Methodist Communications award was for the “Rethink” Church” campaign that encouraged viewers to view church participation from different perspectives. The MidSouth Emmys cover work done in Tennessee, most of North Carolina and the Huntsville area.
