OakPoint Real Estate announced today that Andrew Maxwell has joined the Nashville-based company’s advisory services team and will focus on consulting services for corporate clients.
Maxwell began his real estate career in 2006 as an associate at ProVenture Commercial Real Estate in Nashville, where he worked with current OakPoint partners Rick Helton and John Keller for three years, according to a release.
Prior to joining OakPoint, Maxwell served as a director of dispositions for USI Real Estate, a division of New York-based Johnson Controls, at which he managed sales and subleases of corporate-owned real estate assets for Fortune 500 clients worldwide.He also previously served as assistant director, consulting services, for Studley in New York City, where he provided strategic consulting and analysis on the negotiation and execution of major lease transactions.
Maxwell has represented, among others, Motorola, Tiffany & Co. and Verizon.
Maxwell holds a Master of Science degree in real estate finance, magna cum laude, from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and managerial studies from Vanderbilt University.
