Reform uncertainty? Let's invest anyway

More than 80 percent of respondents to a local health care survey said their companies will invest and grow this year, despite continuing uncertainty surrounding health care reform now that Democrats have lost their supermajority. In the survey of Nashville health care leaders and insiders, conducted by health care public affairs firm Jarrard Phillips Cate & Hancock, 80 percent of respondents said the local health care community will benefit or feel no negative impact from the downfall of the proposed health reform bill. Forty one percent of respondents blamed "voter backlash to big government" as the main cause of the reform bill's downfall, 46 percent blamed Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi, 38 percent blamed President Obama.
