Pinnacle Financial Partners has recruited a senior community banking executive from First Tennessee Bank to lead its Sumner County operation.
Chris Rippy comes to Pinnacle as a senior vice president and area manager and with 20 years of financial services experience. He spent the last 17 of those at First Tennessee, which in 2011  tapped him to be community bank president for Sumner and Wilson counties. He is based at Pinnacle’s office on Main Street in Hendersonville.
“Chris’s extensive financial services experience and knowledge of the Sumner County market are a winning combination that will benefit our clients,” said Larry Whisenant, Pinnacle area manager of client services.
A graduate of Western Kentucky University, Rippy is a board member for the Greater Nashville Habitat for Humanity and serves on its Family Selection committee. He is also active in the community through his membership in the Gallatin Rotary Club.
