A German hospitality technology company has acquired Hendersonville-based computerized reservation system provider InnLink.
InnLink — which began life as a subsidiary of ShoLodge — is one of the world's leading provider of computerized reservations to mid-level independent hotels. Its sale to IHS GmbH is part of a growing trend of consolidation in the reservation industry; when Battery acquired IHS last year, the latter held a basket of companies including Worldhotels, Europe's largest provider of the service.
According to trade news site TNooz , InnLink's system powers the database of more than 7,000 hotel properties, 1,200 of which are outside the U.S. The Sumner County company has 60 employees.
