Popular Nashville-based treatery Sweet CeCe’s has closed its Gulch business, not quite two years after it opened at 319 12th Ave. S. in the mixed-use urban district.
It is uncertain as to why Sweet CeCe's closed. An official close to the situation and who asked to go unnamed simply confirmed the closing of the frozen yogurt shop and provided no other details. (Read more here about the opening .)
The Gulch Facebook site for CeCe's notes the following:
“It's a sad day in The Gulch. Sweet CeCe's will be closing their doors tonight (Sunday). I know they will miss all of their friends in the neighborhood, and everyone in The Gulch will miss them as well.”
Sweet CeCe’s officials could not be reached for comment. Likewise, officials with MarketStreet Enterprises, which owns the building from which Sweet CeCe’s operated, could not be reached for comment regarding a replacement tenant.
