First Farmers adds board member
Kim Vella, senior vice president and chief people officer at Tractor Supply Co. and a current member of the First Farmers Advisory Board of Williamson County, has been named to the First Farmers & Merchants Bank Board of Directors.
Vella joined Tractor Supply in 1997 as director of human resources. She was promoted to vice president in 2001 and to senior vice president in 2007.
Vella holds a B.A. in human relations from Trevecca University.
Fifth Third Bank adds three
Ryan K. Meyers has joined Fifth Third Bank as a financial center manager for the Tennessee affiliate.
Meyers comes to Fifth Third Bank from Regions Bank. He is a graduate of Tennessee State University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in business administration.
Alan Williams has joined Fifth Third Bank as a financial service representative for the Harpeth Valley Banking Center in Nashville. Williams is a recent graduate of the University of Tennessee, receiving a bachelor’s degree in finance and economics.
Micah McAlister has joined Fifth Third as financial center manager for the company’s Willowbrook banking center. McAlister comes from US Bank, where he served as a branch manager. He started his banking career as a full-time teller with Bank of America.
U.S. Trust adds Bairnsfather
U.S. Trust has named Louise C. Bairnsfather as a private client manager.
Bairnsfather will serve as a primary point of contact and as a service provider for existing and newly developed client relationships. She most recently served as a Merrill Lynch financial adviser and, prior to that, as an investment adviser for Wiley Bros./Aintree Capital.
United Way promotes Mullen to associate director
James Mullen has been promoted to associate director, workplace engagement for United Way of Metropolitan Nashville.
Mullen will oversee details of the overall United Way workplace campaign. He joined United Way of Metropolitan Nashville in 2011 after serving as senior campaign manager for United Way in Cleveland.
Centerstone Research names CEO
Centerstone Research Institute has named Tom Doub its chief executive officer.
Doub joined Centerstone in 2003 as vice president of research and was named chief operating officer in 2008.
Doub graduated with a degree in psychology from Oral Roberts University. He received his M.S. in clinical psychology and Ph.D. in quantitative psychology from Vanderbilt University.
