In their quarterly reports filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission Friday, officials at Community Health Systems and LifePoint Hospitals detailed their shares of the proceeds from the recently settled Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services lawsuit over reimbursement ratios between rural facilities and urban sites. CHS booked an extra $102 million [2] in first-quarter revenues from the deal, while LifePoint got a bonus of $31.3 million [3].
