Local Republican strategist Ward Baker has hitched his wagon to the Mitt Romney campaign.
Following Romney's primary wins this week in New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Delaware and Rhode Island, the Republican National Committee has begun coordinating its activities with the former Massachusetts governor's team. As part of that, the Washington Post reports [2], Baker will help coordinate the political and field teams of the two organizations.
Baker is a veteran GOP strategist who has worked with politicians across the country. Among his clients are former Columbia HCA boss and current Florida Gov. Rick Scott.
