On one hand, there had been a very vocal group calling for changing the way Tennessee appoints its Attorney General [2]. That bill failed in the State Senate.
On the other, there had been rumblings to change how Tennessee Supreme Court Justices [3]get their job. Well that one passed.
Meanwhile, most of the state doesn't know what either job does and why it is important.
