Materials wholesaler picks Smyrna
Building materials wholesaler Cedar Creek will relocate its regional distribution facility from Milan, northeast of Memphis, to Smyrna.
The local warehouse will serve Tennessee, southwestern Kentucky, eastern Missouri, southeastern Illinois and southern Indiana markets from the new location at 111 Enon Springs Road W.
“This move provides an exciting growth opportunity for Cedar Creek,” said Don Keene, general manager. “Relocating to the Nashville market offers us a stronger position from which to serve our existing as well as new customers in this region. The growing Smyrna community is an ideal Nashville area location for our new regional operation.”
Serving 19 Southern and Midwestern states, Cedar Creek was recapitalized in 2010 by Boston's Charlesbank Capital Partners with an aim to expand its trade area.
