Brentwood's Synergy Business park has sold for $62.8 million.
Through its Midsouth Capital Fund, Boyle Investment paid that price for the property, which features eight buildings totaling 500,000 square feet across 33 acres along Franklin Road. It was previously owned by ProVenture Commercial Real Estate and Urdang Capital Management.
Synergy was one of the first large-scale office parks to be built in Brentwood.
"Synergy provides a great location and mix of tenants, and we are excited to move forward with various improvements to the property [2], as well as our long-term plans to incorporate a mixed-use element," said Thomas McDaniel, director of office properties for Boyle.
Boyle will handle leasing and management for Synergy and will add an on-site office. Representing the seller were John Keller and Rick Helton of ProVenture as well as Stewart Calhoun of Cushman & Wakefield.
Should Boyle successfully convert Synergy to mixed use, it will continue their move in that direction. The company's latest largest projects have been the Meridian project in Cool Springs — whose latest office building will be delivered in August — and Berry Farms, a new 600-plus acre in development. In addition, Boyle is moving into the Nashville CBD market as it continues due diligence work on its 35-acre Capitol View project.
