After announcing the creation of the program in May [2], the Nashville hospitality industry has named its first monthly “Hitmaker.” Taking home the crown this month is Pancake Pantry server Beth Deits.
A Music City Hitmaker will be recognized each month for their outstanding service, and will receive a $100 restaurant gift card, a lapel pin that distinguishes them as a Hitmaker, admission for two to area attractions, a certificate of recognition, and a video highlight feature on www.visitmusiccity.com [3]
The annual winner will be selected during National Travel & Tourism Week next May. That person will be honored as a VIP in Music City for a year and be given a prize package that includes two club-level seats for a Titans game, two club-level tickets to a Predators game a well as VIP backstage treatment at the city’s 4th of July and New Year’s Eve celebrations.
