The board of directors of America Service Group have awarded the prison health provider's top five officers with raises averaging 7.7 percent.
In a filing with regulators [2], the Brentwood-based company disclosed the move, which was made last week and becomes effective Jan. 1.
The biggest salary hike is going to CFO Michael Taylor, who will be paid $420,000 next year, 9.1 percent more than in 2010. CEO Rich Hallworth is getting an 8.8 percent boost to $571,000 in 2011, while Chief Development Officer Jonathan Walker will be paid $270,000, up from $250,000 this year.
Carl Keldie and Scott King, chief medical officer and chief legal officer, respectively, also are getting nice raises, though theirs are both below 7 percent.
The pay increases come a year after both Hallworth and Taylor received salary boosts of more than 20 percent [3] when they were appointed to their new positions as well as the company's board.
Shares of America Service (Ticker: ASGR [4]) were up slightly this afternoon, but have lost 8 percent of their value this year.
