People: HCA appoints new Eastern Group president [1]
HCA has named Charles J. "Chuck" Hall to head up its Eastern Group of hospitals, effective October 1. He will take the place of Charlie Evans, whose retirement was announced [2] last month.
Hall is being promoted from the presidency of HCA’s North Florida Division, based in Tallahassee. He will relocate to Nashville.
The Eastern Group encompasses HCA operations in Florida, Georgia and the Carolinas -- 57 hospitals in all, with annual net revenues of $8 billion.
