Skilled nursing center operator Advocat Inc. has earned a handful of National Quality Awards [2] from the American Healthcare Association. The AHCA awards have three levels of awards for nursing homes, requiring facilities to demonstrate at least a three year history of excellence in quality care, staff and residents' satisfaction, and regulatory compliance.
Five Advocat nursing centers in Alabama and Texas received bronze-level awards.
