The Game, Plaster in talks
Nashville sports-talk radio fixture George Plaster is in negotiations with WPRT-FM 102.5 The Game, according to the radio station, but no agreement has been reached between station and host.
Plaster has been off Nashville's airwaves since September when he left 104.5 The Zone after the station was sold to Cumulus as part of the company's merger with Citadel.
Willy Daunic, Plaster's long-time cohost, joined WPRT shortly after he left The Zone himself and hosts 102.5's drive-time Sports Revolution alongside Greg Pogue. (In the interest of disclosure: I am a weekly guest on the show.)
In the most recently publicly available ratings — April's 6 a.m.-to-midnight numbers for those age 6 and up — The Zone earned a 5.4 share while The Game came in with a 1.1 share.

The days of Plaster talking
The days of Plaster talking Braves baseball are gone, no one wants to hear him or any of the other knuckleheads at the Lame I mean Game. That's why 104.5 is kicking butt in the market. All the local shows rock and the move for 3HL to drive time was a no brainer. All the odd folk can just stay with Plaster. Sports talk is for the 30 something crowd and 104.5 has figured that out and are tapping into it.
