FirstBank has hired a former executive of First American National Bank and National Bank of Commerce to lead its employee training programs.
Alice Finn has joined FirstBank, Tennessee's eighth-largest bank by deposits and the third-largest based in the state, as vice president of training and development. She will oversee the development, coordination and presentation of training and leadership development programs for all of the bank's associates. FirstBank employs about 730 people at 50-plus branch offices as well as mortgage locations in Tennessee, Alabama, Florida, Georgia and South Carolina.
Finn previously owned a training consulting firm that worked with banks and credit unions from New England to Hawaii. Before launching her consulting practice in 2000, she was VP and sales program manager at First American in Nashville and spent six years in the National Bank of Commerce organization as director of training. She is a certified Myers-Briggs practitioner and has served on the faculty for the Barret Graduate School of Banking.
“I have worked with Alice for many years and am excited to have her in this role. Her experience, knowledge, and dedication make her a great asset to the FirstBank team,” said Jeanie Rittenberry, senior VP and director of marketing and training.
