Developer targets year-end completion of Belmont-area townhomes

KEE Capital's The Edge at Belmont to feature $500K units

Nashville-based development entity KEE Capital Group is targeting an end-of-year completion date for its under-construction townhome project The Edge at Belmont located near Belmont University.

The infill project, which is fully under construction and will front Wade Avenue at 14th Avenue South, is the second of its type in the general area bordered by 12th Avenue on the east and Wedgewood Avenue on the south. In 2013, Belmont Close opened fronting Wedgewood (a block south of Wade). A member of the Belmont Close development team is a part of KEE Capital Group, the three partners in which have asked to go unnamed.

Alexander Brandau Real Estate Partners at Keller Williams will handle the marketing and sales of the nine three-bedroom and three-full-bath townhome units, which will span about 2,280 square feet and include attached two-car garages and rooftop decks. The units will start at $499,999.

“This is a distinctive floor plan for Nashville and one I haven’t seen in the local market,” Brandau said. “It has an open-flow floor plan while maintaining some traditional features like a dedicated dining room and master suite.”

Brandau said The Edge at Belmont exterior primarily will feature stone.

“It will have some of the stone elements that compliment the buildings in the Belmont area,” he noted.

Brandau said a key appeal of The Edge at Belmont will be its proximity to 12South, Edgehill Village and Hillsboro Village. KEE Capital Group is also serving as the general contractor for the project. Nashville-based Quirk Designs is the architect.
