ServiceSource officials today announced their plans to expand the company’s Nashville sales center with the creation of 100 full-time jobs.
ServiceSource will hire sales representatives and other support staff that manage service contract and subscription renewals for more than 40 hardware, software, software as a service, and health care technology companies, according to a release. The San Francisco-based company did not note in the release a timetable to have the 100 new employees in place.
The new employees will work from ServiceSource’s downtown tower, in which the company leases eight floors and has 800 employees. The Nashville office, which represents ServiceSource’s largest sales center, supports multiple Silicon Valley-based customers, providing a high-tech linkage with the San Francisco Bay area.
“Nashville is an emerging technology hub in the United States,” Grant Clarke, ServiceSource vice president of selling services, said in the release. “[The city’s] vibrant culture and entrepreneurial spirit are key ingredients to building a dynamic workforce. Without the continued support from the city of Nashville, we could not have grown and scaled in such a short period of time to meet the needs of our customers.”
ServiceSource bills itself as the third largest technology employer in the greater Nashville area.
Customers supported from the Nashville sales center include Adobe, Affymetrix, Beckman Coulter, Cardiac Science, Gerber, Google and Siemens.
