Bass brings on shareholder litigation attorney

VU grad had been with Wyatt since early '13

Bass Berry & Sims has recruited from Wyatt Tarrant & Combs a staff attorney for its securities and shareholder litigation practice group.

Jamie Brown joined Wyatt in March of 2013 and before that spent almost three years at Bouchard Margules & Friedlander in Wilmington, Delaware. She specializes in working with public companies, especially in the health care and finance sectors, on shareholder disputes arising from alleged violations of federal and state securities laws.

Brown is a 2010 graduate of Vanderbilt University Law School and earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Kentucky in 2007.

Bass’ shareholder litigation group comprises almost 20 attorneys and is led by members Joe Crace, Brant Phillips and Overton Thompson.
