Diversified Trust adds SVP, VPs

Former Deutsche, Ziff Brothers trader tapped with building firm's local business

Diversified Trust has recruited three executives to its Nashville office, one of them a senior vice president who has moved from Ziff Brothers in New York.

Adam Dretler comes to Diversified after spending more than seven years as a senior trader at Ziff Brothers, where he focused on trading global stocks on a long-short platform. Before that, he worked for more than eight years at Deutsche Bank. At Diversified Trust, Dretler (pictured at left) is responsible for client service, investment management and new business development in the Nashville office.

Also joining Diversified Trust are VPs Lamar Stanley and Katie Williams, pictured at right. Stanley focuses on the company’s private equity strategies and previously spent eight years in the U.S. Navy as an intelligence officer, most recently serving with Joint Special Operations Command at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.

Williams is responsible for client service, investment management and new business development in the area, with an emphasis on financial planning and advisory services. Prior to joining the firm, she was a financial advisor with the Pruett Group of Northwestern Mutual in Nashville.

“We are pleased to welcome Adam, Lamar and Katie to Diversified Trust during a continued time of growth for our firm,” said Jim Ramsey, managing principal. “They are experienced, talented and proven professionals that we believe add immediate value to our clients in Middle Tennessee and beyond.”

Employee-owned Diversified Trust manages more than $5 billion for its clients. Its Nashville office is located at 3102 West End Ave.
