HCA Holdings announced that Chris Taylor has been named president of Parallon, the Nashville-based company's business and operations services subsidiary.
Taylor has been the CFO of Parallon, which offers business and operational services to hospitals and health care facilities, since 2012 and its interim president since November 2013. Previously, he served as CFO of HCA's TriStar division.
"Chris has demonstrated outstanding leadership abilities throughout his career with HCA, and his hospital leadership experience has given him a deep understanding of the challenges health care providers are facing," William Rutherford, HCA's executive vice president and CFO, said in a release. "We are confident Parallon will continue to help its clients succeed under Chris' continued leadership."
HCA executives have begun their search for a new CFO of Parallon, which runs more than 30 facilities in the United States, the United Kingdom, Mexico and China. The company will in the coming years move to a new headquarters in the North Gulch that will be part of the Capitol View project being developed by Boyle Investment and Northwestern Mutual Real Estate Investments.
