Nashville-based National Seating & Mobility Inc. has appointed William Mixon as president of the wheelchair and adaptive seating company.
Most recently, Mixson served as president for medical equipment management company Universal Hospital Services. He also has held executive positions with Philips Medical Systems and US Investigation Services.
"As we grow, our need for talented experienced business executives continues," Mike Ballard, National Seating & Mobility's CEO, said in a release. "Bill is exactly the kind of talented executive we want to help us achieve the next phase of growth at NSM and continue to drive the company forward."
Mixon received a bachelor of arts in economics from Georgetown University, a masters of business administration from the College of William and Mary and a masters of science in health administration from the Medical College of Virginia. He also served in the U.S. Army for five years.
