Nashville-based emids Technologies announced the addition of two senior leaders to the health care consulting company's executive team — Rick Fuqua as senior vice president of U.S. delivery and Manoj Singhal as senior vice president of health care enterprise.
Fuqua, pictured here, is the former chief information officer for Healthcare Technology Ventures, Simplex Healthcare and AIM Healthcare Services, among others. He is also the CIO advisor to local nonprofit Abe's Garden. In his new role, Fuqua will oversee growth and scale of U.S. partnerships, including the company's recently announced plans to develop a local health IT center with Availity.
"We are thrilled to have Rick join us as we continue to grow and expand in the United States," Saurabh Sinha, emids' president and CEO, said in a release. "He will be instrumental not only to our partnership with Availity, but also to ensuring results of the highest quality for our clients, ruled by our unique partnership-based approach."
Singhal has 30 years of IT experience and will provide leadership and strategy in emids' payer and provider markets.
"Manoj carries IT experience on a global level," Sinha said. "From launching startups, to bringing products from the lab to the marketplace, to counseling global enterprise organizations — Manoj's background and deep industry knowledge will be invaluable to our business."
