Automotive parts manufacturer CTP Transportation Products has hired a vice president and global product management and marketing official for its Franklin home office.

Ignacio Aguerrevere joins CTP, which makes industrial belts, specialty tires and wheels, from Eaton Corp., where he had been director of North American truck OEM sales. Aguerrevere had joined Eaton's truck group as senior manager of global marketing in mid-2008 from a subsidiary of United Technologies. At CTP, he will oversee pricing, product marketing, brand and marketing communications, and strategic planning functions.

“We welcome Ignacio to the CTP team as we continue to develop and strengthen our strategic planning, product management, pricing and marketing organization,” said Kevin Forster, president of CTP Transportation Products.

Aguerrevere has a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial engineering. He also earned master's degrees in business administration and engineering management, with majors in strategy, marketing and operations, from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management and the Robert R. McCormick School of Engineering at Northwestern University.

CTP employs 4,000 people at 22 plants in five countries. The company relocated its headquarters to Franklin in 2011 when it was known as Carlisle Transportation Products and still owned by holding company Carlisle Companies. At the end of 2013, it was acquired by private-equity firm American Industrial Partners.
