OakPoint acquires Phoenix retail center

Deal marks Nashville-based company's fourth in Arizona in past 12 months

Nashville-based real estate investment and advisory firm OakPoint Real Estate today announced it has purchased Greenfield Gateway, a Wal-Mart anchored retail center located in Phoenix.

An acquisition price was not disclosed in a release.

The building spans about 70,700 square feet and includes national tenants AT&T, Sally’s Beauty and Bright Now Dental, in addition to a Wendy’s ground lease.

“Greenfield marks our fourth acquisition in Arizona and our tenth nationwide in the past 12 months,” Justin Albright (pictured), OakPoint principal, said in the release. ”Phoenix is one of the nation’s leading markets emerging from the recession, and we are excited to expand our portfolio there.”
