Butchertown works starts, Vanderbilt adds, Stratford to assume new look, and more...

Butchertown Hall coming to Germantown

Work on Butchertown Hall (pictured at left), a biergarten concept that's a joint venture of Terry Raley's Amaranth Hospitality Group and Germantown developers Woodland Street Partners, is underway. Powell Construction is renovating an existing 2,166-square-foot building and constructing a 1,656-square-foot addition at 1416 Fourth Avenue North in Morgan Park Place. It's a $725,000 job.

Power up at Vanderbilt

Vanderbilt University's existing heating and power building will expand by 4,000 square feet as part of a $4 million contract from  Messer Construction Co..

WSMV studio upgrades

R.C. Mathews will perform $2.2 million in renovations at the WSMV studios on Knob Road.

Big build at Stratford

Messer has the $16 million contract for renovations to Stratford High School (seen in image below). Metro Nashville Public Schools officials are billint the five-phase renovation as a "total overhaul."

Renovation at Saint Thomas

Turner will renovate more than 30,000 square feet of patient rooms at Saint Thomas West in a $7.5 million job.
