MTLC has the $1.3 million contract to construct a 12,254-square-foot medical office building at 220 W. Maplewood Lane near Skyline Medical Center. In addition, MTLC holds the $593,000 finish-out permit.

TSU dining hall rehab

J.E. Dunn will undertake $850,000 in upgrades to Tennessee State University's dining hall, to include millwork, finishes, equipment and lighting.

A new welcome at Overbrook

Overbrook School will get a new main entry after $1.8 million in work from Goodrum. The school is located at at 4210 Harding Pike.

New hot chicken joint on Eighth

New bar and hot chicken joint Party Fowl will open at 719 Eighth Ave. S. after $400,000 in work from Dowdle Construction Group. According to Bites, the restaurant — to be called Party Fowl — is a project of the team behind 360 Bistro and is set for an August debut.

Sulphur Dell's foundation

The foundation, deep utilities, outfield retaining wall and concrete structures are being buildt for the under-construction Nashville Sounds baseball stadium — which the permit calls "The Ballpark At Sulphur Dell" but is actually First Tennessee Park. Bell has the permit.
