Veteran employee has been with company since 2005

Brentwood-based Associa Morris Property Management has named John Hensley as president and chief executive officer.

Hensley (pictured) has managed community associations since 1991 and is licensed as a professional community association manager in Florida. He began managing communities with Associa Morris Property Management in 2005 and was promoted to Middle Tennessee regional manager in early 2006 with the responsibility of overseeing community association managers while maintaining a small portfolio of communities. Hensley was then promoted to director of management services in 2010 and vice president in 2012.

Hensley is an active member of Community Association Institute, having been elected in 2013 to serve on the board of directors for the Tennessee Chapter and has been named the 2015 CIA Tennessee president elect.

“John has seen and done it all in the community management business and we are fortunate to have him leading our team at Morris,” Associa Senior Vice President Chris Harrison said in a release. “He embodies family spirit, customer service and loyalty, having been with Associa for almost 10 years.”
