Online auto retailer Carvana is planning a Nashville expansion that will follow up on its launch in Atlanta earlier this year. The company will offer next-day deliver in Nashville through a new distribution center, the first in Carvana's strategy to launch a physical presence in multiple new markets this year.
The company is based in Phoenix, but operates out of the Southeast. Through Carvana's online shopping platform, consumers can browse pre-owned vehicles, set customized financial terms and coordinate delivery or pick up the vehicle in Atlanta.
"We have experienced strong demand for online car sales stemming from the Nashville area," Ernie Garcia, president of Carvana, said in a release. "Consumer demand coupled with a large metropolitan area and a technology-friendly culture made Nashville a natural for our first distribution point outside Atlanta, following our launch of nationwide availability."
