MindCare Solutions partners with doctor group

Local company to provide tele-behavioral health for sites in four states

MindCare Solutions, a portfolio company of local investment firm Epiphany Health Ventures, has signed a deal to provide its remote behavioral health services with a Pennsylvania-based physician group.

Through the agreement with Genesis Physician Services, the terms of which are not being disclosed, MindCare will provide integrate telehealth and other psychiatric services to patients in Genesis' skilled nursing facilities in Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire and Virginia, with a planned expansion to West Virginia later this year.

Peter Ambrose Jr., MindCare CEO, described the agreement as "an exciting partnership aimed at improving individual health outcomes and providing efficient and effective health services that address both the behavioral and medical needs of patients while increasing the overall access to behavioral care for some of America's most deserving citizens."

Epiphany, which is led by Harry Jacobson and Duncan Dashiff, late last year invested $30 million into what is now Mindcare and relocated the company to Nashville from North Carolina.
