GSRM adds former Bass attorney as member

Veteran lawyer to focus on firm's litigation section

Gullett Sanford Robinson & Martin announced today the addition of attorney Joshua R. Denton as a member.

Denton (pictured), who will practice mainly in the firm’s litigation section, has experience representing clients in complex commercial litigation involving business torts, breach of contract claims, real estate disputes, land use planning and zoning matters, and intellectual property.

“We are pleased to welcome such a highly respected attorney like Josh Denton to GSRM,” Scott Derrick, the Nashville-based firm’s managing partner, said in a release. “His experience, knowledge and reputation will enhance the services we provide to our clients and bolster our growing litigation practice.”

Previously, Denton was a member of Bass, Berry & Sims and, before moving to Nashville 11 years ago, practiced with Stoll, Keenon & Park in Louisville.

Denton earned his law degree from the University of Kentucky College of Law and a B.A. degree in journalism and political science from the UofK.

Denton serves as the co-chair of the Nashville Bar Association’s Chancery & Circuit Courts Committee. He is a board member for the Next Generation Heritage Foundation and the Nashville Conflict Resolution Center.
