Developer targets May start for Hillsboro Village apartment building

Stonehenge's 1810 Belcourt to feature 36 units

Nashville-based Stonehenge Real Estate Group is targeting a May groundbreaking for a 36-unit, five-story apartment building to be located on the northeastern fringe of Hillsboro Village.

Stonehenge created 1810 Belcourt LLC for the development, which will be located on 19th Avenue South between Wedgewood Avenue on the north and Belcourt Avenue on the south. Two structures on two parcels will be razed to make way for the building.

Relatedly, SH Hillsboro Village LLC on Thursday sold its interest in the two parcels to 1810 Belcourt LLC for $1 million.

Stonehenge principal Todd Jackovich said construction of what will be called 1810 Belcourt should be completed by summer 2015. Of note, the building's one- and two-bedroom units will offer larger-than-typical floor plans due to the location and size of the project, he added.

Avenue Bank is providing financing, while Poole & Poole Architecture is handling design work. Southland Constructors will serve as general contractor.

Stonehenge is currently developing Artisan on 18th in Music Row, 23Hundred in Berry Hill and Opus 29 in the Vanderbilt-West End Corridor.
