Applied Health Analytics names VP of client services

Former Saint Thomas manager to handle growth, partner relations

Nashville-based Applied Health Analytics announced today it has hired Gene Lane as vice president of client services and integration.

Lane will oversee client accounts, manage growth and serve as part of Coalesce, the health care consulting and population health management company's consulting division.

Previously, Lane was the director of corporate health at Floyd Medical Center in Rome, Ga. Before taking that job in the fall of 2012, he spent almost two decades in various parts of the Saint Thomas Health Services network, including at its Community Medicine venture and the MissionPoint accountable care organization.

"We are excited to welcome Gene to our team," Robert Chamberlain, co-founder, chairman and CEO of Applied Health Analytics, said in a release. "Gene has experience building successful employer strategies from vision to implementation. Coming from the trenches, he is not only able to relate to our client base, he understands all the differences between the needs and resources of a multi-facility health system, an individual urban-based hospital and a rural or small community hospital."
