Aegis names new CFO

Former VP of finance to lead strategic financial initiatives

Drug testing lab company Aegis Sciences Corp. announced today it has promoted Keri Thoma to chief financial officer.

Thoma joined the company in 2010 and previously served as Aegis vice president of finance. She replaces Jeff Fisher, who had been serving in dual roles as chief culture officer and chief financial officer.

"We are honored to promote Keri to chief financial officer," David L. Black, Aegis founder, chairman and CEO, said in a release. "Keri continues to demonstrate strong leadership qualities and has been an invaluable asset to our financial operations. We look forward to her additional contributions as Aegis continues to grow in the future."

Thoma previously served as manager of the European Treasury Center for John Deer, Inc., in Luxembourg. She received her B.B.A. degree in accounting from the University of Iowa and her master's degree in business administration and finance from Indiana University.
